What Is Your Hidden Talent?

What Is Your Hidden Talent?

Two hours before your friend's wedding party, the DJ calls. His van has broken down and he is not coming.

The phone call

The Natural Performer groans, then feels a small thrill. Someone will need to hold a mic tonight, and part of them already knows it will be them. The Master Problem-Solver asks three fast questions. Is there a speaker at the venue, who has a laptop, and what is the Wi-Fi code? The Creative Visionary is already picturing the room with string lights and a handwritten song list on the wall. The Emotional Healer goes to find the bride, who is close to tears, and sits with her before anyone talks about music.

The long hour in between

The Problem-Solver gets the old venue speaker working with a borrowed cable and a lot of trial and error. The Visionary builds a playlist that tells a story, from the couple's first dance song to the loud ones saved for midnight. The Performer practices a toast in the car park, muttering that they hate this, and grinning anyway. The Healer keeps checking on the groom's mum, who is sure the whole night is ruined.

When the music starts

The Performer takes the mic, makes one joke about the missing DJ, and the room relaxes. The Visionary watches the plan come to life and quietly moves two tables so there is space to dance. The Problem-Solver keeps one eye on the speaker all night, ready to fix it again. The Healer stays near the bride, who keeps saying she is fine and then laughs for real.

The next morning, the bride sends a message to the group chat, and each of them reads a different line twice. The Performer rereads "best toast ever". The Problem-Solver rereads "I can't believe the sound held up". The Visionary rereads "the playlist made me cry". The Healer rereads "thank you for staying with me". None of them would have put that skill on a CV.

Nobody in that story trained for the night. So the quiz leans on karaoke, broken things and sudden spotlight moments. A hidden talent shows up when there is no time to prepare, and the questions drop you into exactly those spots.

Think back to the last time a plan fell apart around you. What did people thank you for the next day? That thank-you is often the clue, even if you shrugged it off at the time.

Whatever comes up, it is a mirror to smile at. It does not diagnose anything.

Pick the answers that sound like your last messy night, and the quiz will tell you what you were doing all along.
